THEOLOGY

Who and What is God

Delve into the ultimate mystery of the Divine Essence by distinguishing between the Nature of God and the Three Divine Persons, discovering how the "I Am" is both transcendent and closer to us than we are to ourselves.

This session tackles the most foundational question of our existence by exploring the vital distinction between the "Nature" of God — what He is — and the "Persons" of the Trinity — who He is. Using the wisdom of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Catechism, we will examine God as Ipsum Esse Subsistens (Subsistent Being Itself) and unpack His divine attributes. By moving beyond our own mental projections to the God of Revelation, you will discover a being who is infinitely beyond the universe yet intimately present to the soul, providing a solid theological anchor for your life of prayer and worship.

CHRISTOLOGY

Who and What is Christ

Journey into the heart of the Incarnation to understand how Jesus is truly God and truly Man in one Divine Person, exploring the "Hypostatic Union" that makes Him the only bridge between Heaven and Earth.

The person of Jesus Christ is the hinge upon which all of history turns, yet many find His dual nature difficult to grasp. In this session, we delve into the "Hypostatic Union" — the profound reality that Christ is fully divine and fully human without confusion or division. By looking at the definitions of the early Church Councils and the Prologue of St. John's Gospel, we will explore why it was necessary for our Savior to share in our humanity to heal it, and in His divinity to save it. This is a deep dive into Christology that moves from the historical Jesus to the Eternal Word, inviting you to know Him not just as a teacher from the past, but as the living Lord of your present.
